1.What Znojmo dnes is
Znojmo dnes (the "service") is operated by [OPERATOR NAME], company ID no. (IČO) [COMPANY ID NO. (IČO)], [REGISTERED OFFICE / ADDRESS] ("we" or "us"). The service runs at www.znojmopohromade.cz and gathers in one place what is happening in Znojmo: the daily menus of venues, the cinema and theatre programme, events, wineries, businesses and medical practices, news, the official notice board, street cleaning and the town's documents — resolutions of the city board and the city council, by-laws, councillors' votes, contracts and tenders.
The service comes in several forms, and these terms apply to all of them:
- website — reading is free and requires no account.
- account — with an account, the website remembers your favourite venues, interests and streets, and you can set up notifications.
- Telegram bot and email digests — daily or weekly summaries of what you have chosen, sent to Telegram or by email.
- assistant — answers questions about our data; some of its answers are composed by a language model (see Accuracy of data).
- assistant interface (MCP) and API — you can connect the same data to your own assistant.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service; if you have an account, you may ask us to delete it.
2.Account
You create an account with an email address and a password, or by signing in with Google — the first sign-in with Google creates the account. From Google we take only your email address, name and profile picture.
- Only persons over the age of 15 may create an account (see Children).
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Do not share your password with anyone; you can change it in your Account.
- One person, one account. An account is not transferable.
- We may block or terminate an account that breaches these terms, in particular the section What is and is not permitted. We will notify you at the account's email address unless doing so would clearly serve no purpose.
- You may close your account at any time — Deleting your account explains how.
3.What is and is not permitted
Use the service as intended: to read, search and subscribe to information about Znojmo. You must not:
- circumvent sign-in, limits, payments or security measures, or probe them for vulnerabilities without our express agreement;
- impersonate another person, business or public authority — including by claiming the listing of a business you do not run;
- use the assistant, Telegram or the email channels to send spam, to harass anyone or to submit unlawful content;
- download the content of the service in bulk other than through the interfaces intended for that purpose (MCP and API), or beyond the limits that apply there;
- interfere with the operation of the service, load it beyond the usual extent or impair its availability to others.
In the event of a breach, we may restrict or terminate access without compensation. Please report security vulnerabilities to [CONTACT EMAIL]; we welcome responsible disclosure and will not take action against it.
4.Assistant interface (MCP) and API
The public MCP server and the API are intended for personal assistants and small integrations, not for bulk downloading. Fair use applies:
- limits — the public MCP interface allows at most 60 calls per minute from a single IP address and returns at most 20 rows per query; the assistant chat allows 20 messages per minute per account, and features using a language model are additionally subject to a daily or weekly budget depending on your plan. Once a limit is exceeded, you receive a 429 response and must wait a short while. We may change these figures depending on load; the current position is described on the Connect an assistant page.
- bulk access — higher limits and bulk exports are part of the paid plan (the "api.bulk" feature) or of a separate agreement; please contact us.
- attribution — if you display the data further, state "Source: Znojmo dnes" with a link, and keep the original source and the provenance label that we return with every row (see Accuracy of data).
- no guarantee of availability — the interface may be temporarily unavailable or may change; we announce significant changes on the Connect an assistant page and in the documentation.
When the interface is called, we store a hash of the IP address, the name of the tool, the number of rows returned and the time — for rate limiting and statistics. Details are in the Privacy policy.
5.Accuracy of data and what we do not guarantee
We strive to keep the data correct but cannot guarantee it. For every record we state where it comes from and how it was created — the labels "Owner", "Editors", "Script" and "AI" are explained on the Data page. Only the first two are backed by a specific person who has checked the information.
- daily menus — come from the venues or their websites and change quickly; where it matters, check prices, allergens and availability directly with the venue.
- opening hours, contacts, prices — are taken from public sources and may be out of date.
- language model — some records are read and classified by a language model (labelled "AI"), and the assistant answers in the same way; it may make mistakes, omit something or misunderstand the question. An answer from the assistant is neither official information nor professional advice.
- town documents — we publish their text as issued by the town, with a link to the original; the legally valid version is the one on the town's website or on the official notice board. Data on votes, contracts and tenders is taken from public sources and may contain transcription errors.
- empty data sets — where we do not have a piece of information, the field is left empty and the data overview shows zero; we never fill gaps with guesses.
Please report any error to us — we welcome corrections, and for venues the best route is claiming the listing.
6.Paid features
Reading, searching, the account, the Telegram and email digests and the basic assistant are free. The paid plan adds an assistant that remembers you, personal digests, menu history, custom notifications and bulk access to the data. Which features belong to which plan is shown in your Account and may change over time; whatever you have paid for remains available to you for the duration of your subscription.
- price — [MONTHLY PRICE] per month or [ANNUAL PRICE] per year, including VAT. During the beta period nothing is charged and the paid plan cannot yet be purchased online; we activate it manually on request.
- payment — payments are processed by the Stripe payment gateway (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.); we neither see nor store your card details. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
- cancellation — you can cancel the subscription at any time in your Account; it remains valid until the end of the period paid for and is not charged again.
- withdrawal — as a consumer, you may withdraw within 14 days of payment without giving any reason. Because this is digital content that we begin to supply immediately, we will ask you at the time of purchase for your express consent to performance beginning before this period expires; by giving it, you lose the right of withdrawal. If something goes wrong on our side, we refund the money without argument — write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
- invoice — we send the tax invoice to the account's email address.
7.Third-party content and copyright
What belongs to whom
- town documents — resolutions, by-laws, the official notice board, city council papers, votes — are the work of the Town of Znojmo and its bodies, published under the Czech Freedom of Information Act and the Municipalities Act. We reproduce them without changes to the text, stating the source and linking to the original. The town may ask us to amend or remove them; see Town documents.
- menus, texts and photographs of venues — belong to the venues; we display them in order to inform about the venues, and we correct or remove them at a venue's request.
- public registers — data on businesses comes from public registers (ARES) and other open sources; for contracts and tenders we link to the Register of Contracts, the contracting authority's profile and Hlídač státu (licence CC BY 3.0 CZ, with a working link).
- our own texts, graphics and code — are ours. Short quotations with the source stated are fine; wholesale copying is not.
- what you send us — corrections, menus, business descriptions, messages to the assistant — you grant us a non-exclusive right to display and process them within the service. They remain yours.
If you believe we are displaying something without authorisation, write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. We will respond within 2 working days; we deal with a justified request first and discuss it afterwards.
8.Businesses and claiming a listing
Do you run a venue, a medical practice or a business in Znojmo? You can claim and manage your listing — the menu, opening hours and contact details. A listing you have edited carries the "Owner" label and takes precedence over anything we have collected ourselves.
- A listing may be claimed only by a person authorised to act on behalf of the business. We verify that authority — for example with a code sent to the email address the business has published — and approve each claim manually.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter as the owner; we remove other people's data and false claims.
- We process and publish the emails a business sends us (menus, changes); some of them automatically, labelled "AI", until someone approves them.
- Paid services for businesses (such as managing a profile or a website) are agreed separately, by order and invoice; these terms apply to them as appropriate.
9.Liability
We provide the free part of the service as is, without any guarantee of uninterrupted operation or of the completeness and correctness of the data (see Accuracy of data). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from reliance on the data in the service, from an outage of the service, or from an outage of the third-party services on which it depends (Telegram, Google, hosting).
For the paid plan, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in this section limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, or liability for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
Links lead to third-party websites, for whose content we are not responsible. Neither an answer from the assistant nor a Telegram digest replaces official information or medical, legal or other professional advice.
10.Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service or the law changes. We will publish the new version on this page with its "Effective from" date; we will announce material changes at least 14 days in advance — on the website, and to account holders by email. If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using the service and close your account; for the paid plan, we will refund the proportional part for the unused period. By continuing to use the service after the change takes effect, you accept it.
11.Governing law and disputes
These terms and the relationship between you and us are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.). Disputes are resolved by the courts of the Czech Republic.
If you are a consumer, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz), the body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. The protection of personal data is supervised by the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The Czech version is the governing version.
